Collaborative data collection and sharing is an important aspect of scientific endeavour. The Water on the Move program encourages educators to share the hydrology data their students collect with other schools. This provides addional data for analysis and makes it possible for students to compare different sites within the same watershed, accross watersheds and even between different geologic regions.
